Meet Everton’s Greatest Manager at Waterstone’s Bold Street

Everton’s greatest ever manager Howard Kendall will be joining authors James Corbett and Steve Johnson to sign copies of Everton: The School of Science and Everton: The Official Complete Record at Waterstone’s, Bold Street, Liverpool, at 11am on Saturday 19 November.

Kendall, also one of Everton’s greatest players and winner of the 1969/70 League Championship, returned to Goodison for the first of three managerial stints in 1981.  During that time he led Everton to two league titles, an FA Cup and European Cup Winner’s Cup.

James Corbett said: “It’ll be very exciting sharing a stage with a man I grew up idolising and who made some of the history that I chronicled in my book.

“Being a lifelong blue myself I know how much Evertonians revere the club’s past. What better memento could you have than an Everton history book personally signed by one of the men who defined an entire era?”

Kendall will be signing books for one hour and we advise customers to get there early to avoid disappointment.

Customers can also reserve copies by calling Waterstone’s on 0151 708 6861.
